NewCold USA Services, LLC is an automated cold storage company and a leader in developing and operating highly automated cold stores, has the following open degreed/experienced position(s) available in Chicago, IL:
Business Development Manager
Assess new opportunities that will fit the NewCold business model and strategy. Spearhead the process of logistics data analysis of opportunity customers and consult on the complicated technology and workflows used for our automated warehouses. Supervise the work of functional reports in relation to cold storage projects. Manage the customer relationship in the business development process. Ensure all customer requirements and team expectations are understood. Drive, challenge, inspire, and support interactions with internal and external stakeholders for a specific business development process to ensure our customer gets the best solution possible. Work closely with the Solution Design Manager throughout the solution design process. Prepare and own the business case for new customer opportunities. Create commercial proposals for new customers. Support the development and negotiation process of warehouse agreements with new customers, while working closely with the regional leadership and legal teams, including legal issues. Support the Head of Business Development in marketing, PR, lead generation, and events. Enhance and maintain the business environment intelligence, including customer data, competitor overviews, industry, and macro-economic information. Responsible for the business development process for a specific project, managing deliverables, timelines and customer expectations. Coach and train junior level business development employees, such as the Business Development Intern or Business Development Analysts.
Will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering or related field and one (1) years of experience as a Business Development Manager or other occupation/position/job title in the cold storage industry.
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent, employer will accept two (2) years of work experience as a Business Development Manager or other occupation/position/job title in the cold storage industry.
Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Unanticipated worksites may be required. Domestic & International travel required up to 50%. Travel expenses paid by employer.
40 hours/week; $100,000.00 - $135,000.00/year
