Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer at Holiday Inn Boston - Bunker Hill Area, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. You will be required to perform preventive maintenance, respond to and resolve maintenance requests, and support the general upkeep of the hotel.

• Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on various systems and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform repairs or coordinate with external contractors for complex maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment logs and work orders.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies.
  • Participate in the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar maintenance role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
