KJUS | Social Media & Partnership Specialist
Full-time - Boulder, CO
Exempt, Salaried | $55,000 - $63,200
The Social Media and Partnership Specialist will help manage and grow the KJUS community across our social networks by building brand awareness and cultivating a positive reputation with the public through various unpaid or earned communications, including traditional media, social media, sponsored athletes, and in-person engagements. Responsible for driving deep engagement with consumers through KJUS's social media properties - elevating the brand through dynamic content while supporting business growth objectives across ski, golf, and lifestyle collections. This includes ongoing management of KJUS's social media network and partnering with creative and product marketing teams to deliver impactful brand initiatives to consumers. He/she will also support the execution of KJUS's key influencer and sponsored-athlete strategy. This position will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:
Public Content, Athletes, and Influencers
- Partner with KJUS's Sr. Marketing Mgr. to build the brand's social media strategy; drive execution efforts across all social media channels with proper approval. Execute social media campaigns in conjunction with KJUS brand narrative, key product initiatives and KJUS influencer strategies
- Monitor, moderate, and engage with KJUS fans across all social media channels to build consumer engagement and excitement. Channels include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and any future social media channels
- Assist with the planning, creation and execution of brand and category content for the KJUS social channels
- Write social media copy and provide community management in the brand voice and ensure messaging across all platforms is consistent and in line with KJUS standards and target consumer
- Foster engagement and provide community management of overall fan base, brand ambassadors, athletes, and industry influencers.
- Provide live event social media coverage, interact with athletes, and provide content during key events throughout the year
- Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, evaluate new opportunities and research best ways to increase social KPIs
- Collaborate with marketing team, Ecomm team, customer service, and paid media agency/ies to ensure cohesive messaging and complementary objectives/targets across communication channels
- Support with campaign content and idea creation
- Create, implement, and oversee a brand influencer strategy and plan that aligns with the brand and goals; measure the performance and impact of these partnerships on an ongoing basis
- Manage relationships with influencers, celebrities, key industry leaders, sponsored athletes and other partners in line with the KJUS brand
- In close partnership with Sr. Marketing Mgr., lead athlete sponsor partnerships and product placement by vetting requests, ordering product with correct logo specs, following-up with agents to ensure athlete satisfaction
- Proactively pursue selected preferred sponsored athletes to establish new brand partners
- Build outfits, select appropriate product and number of items for athletes and place orders
- Lead promotional codes allocation program and track industry insider discounts
- Write Blogs with key SEO terminology on products and brand news to post on KJUS.com on a scheduled basis
- Work closely with Ecom and Design teams to maintain Blog and Athlete profiles on the website
- Support writing copy for product, campaigns, advertainments, digital marketing, product hang tags, etc.
- Write copy for videos
- Understand and abide by copyright requirements
- Support product team with product naming and ensure approval of names with company's legal department
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience in marketing
- Minimum 1 year of experience writing for growing social media channels within the outdoor or sports industry for a major brand
- Know-how in the social media universe of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other emerging social media channels
- Experience using analytics tools to report on social media performance and how these relate to broader business goals
- Styling/merchandising content experience preferred
- Always staying current on all social platform tools and technology
- Skilled using Social Media content management platforms
- Experience with Emarsys, Netsuite and/or RepSpark preferred
- Work confidentially with high-end clients and high-profile athletes
- Possess strong writing skills and ability to quickly produce editorial and technical writing output, including experience blogging
- Proficiency in German preferred but, not necessary
- Extended periods of time sitting and/or standing, occasional lifting
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
