**Job Title: General Construction Laborer**
**Job Description**
The General Equipment Mover will be responsible for uncrating and placing machinery used in the manufacturing of batteries. This role involves handling, moving, and setting up heavy equipment within a large manufacturing facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload, load, and unstuff cargoes from trailers or shipping containers.
+ Uncrate, crate, unpack, pack, and move cargoes using manual or powered hand tools and material handling equipment.
+ Relocate and roughly set cargoes to designated locations on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, material handling equipment like manual skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous experience in a labor-intensive role.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor tasks.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
+ Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 certification.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1+ year of experience in construction or physical labor.
+ Ability to walk 10+ miles per day.
+ Capability to bend, crawl, and walk numerous times throughout the day.
+ Experience in operating forklifts, gradalls, or other lifts is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Work within a manufacturing facility that spans 2 million square feet. The role involves both indoor and outdoor material moving in a non-climate controlled, hot environment. Standard working hours are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of De Soto, Kansas.
