Together, we will create innovative solutions and drive excellence in our field.Our Ideal Candidate will have:Design experience in electrical engineering field (industrial, military, and commercial power, lighting, and control systems)Knowledge of electrical upgrade and project management of power distribution and lighting systemsProficiency in conducting short circuit, load flow, voltage drop studies, protective device coordination, and arc flash analysisTechnical expertise on system capacities, capabilities, and impact of modificationsExperience in development of backup operational plans for expected and unexpected system outages or failuresAbility to recommend system upgrades and replacements, considering cost factors, design, savings, and efficienciesResponsibility for the design, operation, and maintenance of on-site generators, UPS systems, Energy Management systems, fire alarm systems, public address systems, and security systemsPosition Responsibilities:Lead project teams in developing technical design statements of work and cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring safety of buildings and equipmentReview electrical design drawings for compliance with customer requirements, company standards, building codes, and regulationsTroubleshoot building electrical issues and address trouble calls with the Maintenance TeamEnsure accuracy of drawing archives by reviewing contractor redlines and documenting construction changesForecast, monitor, and report site utilities consumptionMaintain infrastructure systems for reliable and efficient operation of utility systemsDevelop and implement conservation projects meeting business case guidelinesSupport employee conservation awareness programsPrepare contingency plans for possible utilities interruptions in coordination with other organizationsResponsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of on-site generatorsOversee UPS systems, Energy Management systems, fire alarm systems, public address systems, and security systemsCoordinate conservation programs across the enterpriseCompile and report company utility consumptionEstablish enterprise policies, procedures, and guidelinesFacilitate enterprise-wide communications on utility issuesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering5+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)Experience using AutoCAD or a similar CAD packagePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 10+ years of experience with building and safety codes10+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project10+ years of experience in an engineering, facilities and/or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment10+ years of experience with conservation programs, Title 2410+ years of experience in designing building lighting and power calculations by applying National Electrical code (NEC) to design10+ years of experience working on facilities medium and high voltage electrical systems10+ years of experience working on building fire alarm systems, UPS, and lighting controls5+ years of experience with RevitTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD + 4 years' related work experience, Master + 7 years' related work experience).
