Tooling Technician

Job Title: Tooling TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin a leading innovator in mobile shelving systems, library shelving, art rack storage, gun lockers, weapons lockers, and evidence lockers. We are also expanding into the Marijuana industry for shelving and storage solutions. As a Tooling Technician, you will perform maintenance and construction of tooling and dies safely and proficiently, while prioritizing, planning, and coordinating Tool Making activities.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and construction of tooling and dies safely and proficiently.Prioritize, plan, and coordinate Tool Making activities.Perform and assist with hands-on training with other team members on standard tooling practices.Perform Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training.Run manual machinery and other fabrication machines.Essential Skills5 years of experience in tooling and die repair and maintenance.Proficiency in Toolroom, Troubleshooting, CNC, Repair, Mold, Lathe, Blueprint, Machining, Tooling, and Die repair.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of experience with Brake Press, turret, punch press, or CNC.Why Work Here?Enjoy a clean and relaxed environment in a larger manufacturing facility. Choose between 1st shift (Monday-Thursday, either 4am-2pm or 5am-3pm) with mandatory overtime on Fridays and voluntary shifts on Saturdays, currently working every other Saturday.
