Requirements

Ability to travel to Naples, Italy and western Africa for up to 50% of the time

Ability to communicate effectively in English with USG customer and partner-nationsAbility to write reports in MS Word and Power PointSecret Clearance for SIPRNET and Base AccessBachelor-s degree in Engineering (Any discipline)

Desired Skills

Familiarity with Maritime Operations and Security. Specific experience with Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) systems, Maritime Operations Centers, Maritime Response (MR) OperationsFamiliarity with Special Security Cooperation Initiatives (SSCI) and building partnership capacity programsBasic knowledge of small boat operationsBasic familiarity with coastal sensors, e.g., radars and camerasBasic familiarity with supply chain management, e.g., ordering, shipping, receiving, storage, etcSecret clearance for base access and possible threat briefs

Description

Naval Forces Africa and Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) are teaming together to provide engineering support for a Development Special Security Cooperation Initiatives to build capacity of African Partner Nations.Performs daily integration and support of NAVAF BPC staff requirementsSupervises and monitors NAVAF SSCI-s in all phases of execution from development through deliveryInterfaces with government agencies in support of NAVAF initiatives to include AFRICOM, DSCA, NIPO, NETSAFA, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, and USASACConducts technical assessments of MDA and MR capabilities in foreign nations. Responsible for program development to improve military systems, including equipment upgrades, installations, training and technical support following assessment[#LI-LH1]

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
