This position is on-site at our Chatsworth, CA location but will be moving to our main facility in Oxnard, CA in the summer of 2025.

Your role as a Quality Inspector
As a Quality Inspector at PTI Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of NEco products within our aerospace manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include performing meticulous receiving and in-process inspections of NEco products, tooling, and processes to confirm that they meet established specifications. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you'll collaborate with other management personnel as needed to achieve NEco's quality and operational goals.

To excel as a Quality Inspector at PTI Technologies, you must possess a strong foundation in quality inspection methodologies, particularly in the aerospace manufacturing sector. Proficiency in performing receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections is essential, alongside the ability to utilize defined sampling procedures such as MIL-STD-105 and ANSI/ANSQ Z1.4. You'll be responsible for setting up inspection equipment and creating dimensional layouts to gather data efficiently. Strong documentation skills are crucial for recording inspection data, completing assembly documentation, and developing non-conformance reports. Familiarity with tools like tension testers, voltage testers, microscopes, and a variety of measuring instruments-such as micrometers and calipers-is imperative.
A high school diploma is required, while a two-year technical degree can enhance your candidacy. Being able to read and interpret component drawings, along with possessing good mathematical skills, will greatly contribute to your success in this key role. Join us!
