Job Description: As a Jr. Data Business Analyst, you will be able to analyse the ingestion of a variety of data points into a PowerApps data system as well other data sources and build reporting features from the data for both internal and public consumption for the public utilizing PowerBI. This role will also provide user support to ensure data is accurate and reliable through 1:1 conversation, office hours, and training.

Key skills include:

Facilitate sessions to gather and document requirements and explore solutions. Superior negotiating, analytical, group facilitation, and relationship management skills. Work effectively with all levels of State staff from clerical through agency executive management. Possess superior organizational and written/verbal communication skills. Hands-on Data Modelling and Process Modelling experience may be required for some assignments. An understanding of current information technology with an ability to conceptualize solutions to business problems in the most effective and cost-efficient manner. An ability to understand the integration of solutions across multiple functional and technical environments is required.

Experience and Education:

Requires a minimum of 3-5years of experience in similar roles. Must hold a BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Education programs and early childhood desired Experience with databases, data queries, and reporting platforms (PowerBI, etc) Experience working with IT product owners and development teams to articulate data needs Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work remotely while still maintaining a collaborative work environment with the group

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $25.00 to $35.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
