Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a high-tech, medical device company dedicated to developing innovative software and hardware technologies for craniomaxillofacial solutions. The Business Analyst will collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable acceptance criteria that guide the development process. Your analytical skills will help ensure that user stories meet business needs and quality standards, facilitating effective communication among team members and enhancing overall project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs. Develop clear, concise, and testable acceptance criteria for Scrum user stories. Ensure alignment of acceptance criteria with business goals and user expectations. Review and refine existing user stories and acceptance criteria based on feedback and evolving requirements. Assist in prioritizing user stories within the backlog to optimize workflow. Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of acceptance criteria. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions to support the agile development process. Monitor progress and assist in resolving any ambiguities related to acceptance criteria. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the medical devices industry (recent) Strong proficiency in creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria using Jira. Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and business analysis tools. Experience with data analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering techniques. Knowledge of tools like Confluence, Jira, and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure. Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages. Strong organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain clear documentation. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in writing test cases and supporting quality assurance activities. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar. Experience in a specific industry such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce. Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe).
