Job Title: Deburr Technician - WeekendJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Deburr Technician to join our team on a weekend shift (Friday - Sunday, 6am to 6pm). This position involves the deburring and finishing of metal components, setting up and running various deburr equipment, and reading and understanding blueprints and finish callouts. The shift includes a 10% differential.ResponsibilitiesDeburr and finish metal componentsSet up and run various deburr equipment (oscillators, buffers, and grinders)Read and understand blueprints and finish calloutsFollow router sequences (directions)Perform sequence operations in a timely mannerGrind and prep components for outside processesMaintain finishes as required on blueprintsRepetitively lift parts up to 50lbsEssential SkillsExperience in deburring, metal finishing, polishing, sanding6 months to 2 years of experience in a similar roleAbility to use hand tools and drills in both personal and professional settingsComfortable working in a machine shop environmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in an environment similar to a machine shop (dirty, loud, etc.)Competitor experience with companies such as Calweld, Calmax, C&H Enterprises, FM Industries, Sanmina, Flextronics, Cortec, Celestica, KNT, Impakt is a plusWillingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays (1 or 2 Saturdays a month)Why Work Here?Join a large contract manufacturer that focuses on the semiconductor industry. You will be working on aluminum parts for a major client in the semiconductor industry. The role involves standing all day and performing repetitive motions. Safety gear, including steel-toed shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and face masks, is required. Expect to work between 40 and 50 hours per week, with occasional Saturday shifts. The environment can be dirty and loud, and employees' clothes may get dirty from dust particles.
