POSITION SCOPE
The
Crusher Operator
is a safety sensitive position responsible for safely monitoring and operating a controlled crushing plant. Operator will perform general maintenance, cleanup, repair activities, and operate support equipment. This individual will also assist with general labor duties at worksite.
Willing to Travel around New Mexico.
Project is based out of our Albuquerque, New Mexico operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on loader, crusher, screen and/or wash plant including screen changes and routine maintenance Safely and properly operate loader and crusher, screen or wash plant Shovel excess material away from crusher, screen or wash plant unit as needed Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors Accurately complete crushing reports and other documentation as needed Ensure MSHA, EPA, OSHA safety and environmental regulation compliance Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety Perform other duties as assigned and assist other craft-workers REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be at least 18 years old Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to get to and from work Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy M.S.H.A. certificate part 46 or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snow Ability to operate equipment in adverse weather conditions and on steep and rough terrains Ability to repeatedly walk up and down steep and rough terrain carrying construction materials Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch Must be a team player who is willing and able to learn Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Extended out-of-town travel will be required
