QA Inspector - Weekend 1st shift

QA Inspector job is to maintain the level of quality of the product which is being produced, bottled, and packed prior to shipment to PL Development's customers.Work schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6a - 6:30pJOB QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferredPrevious experience with QA a plusAbility to read and write English (Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus)Basic knowledge and understanding of cGMPAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to multi taskBasic math skillsAbility to work with limited supervisionPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspection of initial product produced as it is bottled and released off the production line, checking for correct content, volume fill level, bottle size, verification of label, correct batch number, expiration date, verification packaging conforms to customer purchase order specsReport any errors or discrepancies to the Line Leader, Supervisor, and / or Quality ManagerQA pallets of product in the quarantine areaIdentify with proper paper work all pallets cleared for the move to Distribution CenterReceive bank from production any unused labelsParticipate on an as need basis with the taking of monthly inventoryPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Standing, walkingMinimal amount of lifting and over head liftingReaching, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, climbing and proper use of a step stool / ladder for blender inspectionComfortable with exposure to strong chemical smells and confined areasBENEFITS:PLD is a proud equal opportunity employer offering many corporate benefits, including:•Medical and Dental Benefits•401K with employer match•Group Life Insurance•Flex Spending Accounts•Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays•Tuition Assistance•Corporate Discount Program•Opportunities to Flourish Within the Company
