RESPONSIBILITIES
Secure enterprise information by determining security requirements
Planning, implementing and testing security systems Preparing security standards, policies and procedures
Plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies
Develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls and related security and network devices
Design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software
Adhere to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR) and cloud environments
Enhance security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions
Answer technical and procedural questions Teach improved processes Mentor team members
Deliverables
Define, operationalize and document the security architecture and assessment function Develop, standardize and document reference architectures; specifically, zero trust architecture Determine and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews Elevate the security engineering team through mentoring and knowledge transfer.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years experience with network infrastructure
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Hybrid role - Minimum 2 days a week onsite Remote days are expected to be in an adequate home office, following standard work hours On occasion there will be weeks with more office time required
