Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
A world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for commercial, business, regional, and military aerospace customers. Our Assemblers perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts to prepare for assembly. They assemble component parts, including attaching parts together by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding. Assemblers utilize hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, and perform riveting and countersinking. They work off aerospace blueprints and schematics. We provide training for these skills and value candidates with a mechanical aptitude, a good work ethic, and a drive to learn.
Responsibilities
Perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts.
Assemble component parts, including attaching parts together by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding.
Utilize hand and pneumatic tools, as well as measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Perform riveting and countersinking.
Work off aerospace blueprints and schematics.
Essential Skills
Prior aerospace assembly experience.
Sheet metal experience.
Countersinking and squeezing skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Mechanical inclination.
Experience using measuring tools like calipers, shim gauges, and height gauges.
Ability to read and speak English.
Prior experience with hand tools.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical inclined and good work ethic.
Drive to learn new skills and improve existing ones.

Work Environment
Clean manufacturing shop working with steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts for Boeing. The environment can be heavy and loud but is well-organized. The first few days start at 7:00 AM, followed by regular start times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.
