About The Role:
As a CBRE Portfolio Planner, you will oversee a variety of research initiatives used in the development of client deliverables.
This job is part of the Client Consulting function. They are responsible for Advisory services in relation to real estate operations and investments.
What You'll Do:
Build real estate strategies and consult for small to medium size clients.
Deliver strategies with assigned clients. Assist with local portfolio strategic initiatives.
Participate in strategic portfolio planning with stakeholders.
Supervise organizational performance and reports on data collected.
Evaluate space rationalization for clients and provides solutions as needed.
Assist with consolidation reviews and transactions with clients.
Present reports and studies on location, labor, and retail on properties.
Gain comprehension of the client's business. Ensure that property and location strategies align with the business's strategic direction.
Review financial information and additional data for a range of deliverables provided by team. Examples include market plans, process improvements, management practices, and business unit communications.
Study fiscal impact of real estate transactions using net present value analysis, IRR, and company and or client-specific processes.
Develop strategies to reduce costs for clients.
Present research on industry best practice and benchmarks to the client and develop strategic real estate plans.
Work with cross functional internal teams to meet the business unit’s real estate requirements. Suggest initiatives to reduce cost and maximize value for the client's portfolio. Aid with real estate-related communications for senior client representatives.
Develop reports to encourage optimization across many activities. Examples include organizational design, process improvement, and management practices.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish sophisticated assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
Work within broad guidelines and policies.
Explain difficult or sensitive information.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Portfolio Planner position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
