The candidate should also be comfortable trying new ideas, challenging assumptions, and learning from unsuccessful efforts and the work of others. The ability to pivot based on the needs of the business is critical.
What we look forRequiredBachelor of Science in Chemistry
6+ years’ experience in a formulation lab environment - Experience leading complex, ambiguous development efforts
Strong laboratory fundamentals including documentation and chemical hygiene/safety required
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional product development team required
Sound understanding of statistical methods including Design of Experiments (DoE)
PreferredMasters degree
Experience with surfactant and/or polymer chemistry
Knowledge of firefighting foam test standards highly desirable
Experience with stage-gate product development processes is desirable.
