The Opportunity: For an organization to transform in today’s digital world, it needs to properly collect, store, and organize its data. Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, yielding more growth. As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for a data architect like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions for the Army. As a data architect on our Army team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams, working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development, and analyzing data architecture-related business needs. In this role, you’ll develop, define, and document as-is design features, target architectures, and transformational roadmaps, provide the vision for how the Army ecosystem should evolve over time, and conduct trade studies to identify and compare alternative design solutions, as needed. Serve as a problem solver and Army SME across Army account programs and opportunities, including providing technical resources, industry-standard methodologies, and proven techniques, to lead data solutions. Recommend data solutions to complex or ambiguous client challenges and apply Agile, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Management expertise in defining the scope and appropriate approaches to new and emerging opportunities. You Have: 8+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs, including Data Platforms, Engineering, Data Science, Enterprise Analytics, and Solution Architecture.
5+ years of experience with leadership, including leading cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, architecture, cyber, analytics, and AI / ML.
5+ years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of production software and complex system integrations.
Experience in a Web-based systems architecture and enterprise application environment, Big Data storage systems, Cloud, DoD networks, and infrastructure.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
Nice If You Have: Experience with SDLC, including Agile and test-driven methodologies.
Experience with Enterprise Knowledge Repository (EKR) platforms and Assessing Revolutionary & Insurgent Strategies (ARIS) platforms.
Experience with MagicDraw.
Knowledge of Army Data programs and capabilities and Army Business Enterprise Architecture.
Ability to pick up new technologies quickly, including new Web frameworks, open-source technologies, and mobile concepts.
Ability to support the development of strategic partnerships with various government, academic, and industry entities to support and drive capture.
Ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and staff professionally and deliver presentations to executives, clients, and professional peers.
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Master's degree.
PMP Certification.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
