A Day in the Life: Architect, Deploy, Debug: You'll work on platform architectural design, deployment, and troubleshooting throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring systems operate at peak performance. Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain pipelines for rapid software delivery using tools like Jenkins , Bamboo , and Docker . Automate Everything: Implement automation for software builds, network infrastructure, and system configuration using Puppet , Ansible , and Software Defined Networking . Lead with Expertise: Act as a technical lead, driving Agile team success while supporting smooth system operations in production environments. Collaborate & Communicate: Communicate effectively between stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment on requirements and goals. Ensure Reliability: Use DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies to maintain system reliability and performance, ensuring no downtime in mission-critical environments. What You Bring to the Table: Proficiency in GIT and version control systems to manage and maintain best practices, including branching and merging strategies. Strong knowledge of Linux environments (RHEL 6/7/8, RHCSNRHCE, CentOS) and Windows system administration , monitoring, and performance tuning. 10 years of experience in Agile development environments , managing continuous integration and deployment systems. Experience integrating Jenkins/Bamboo , Docker , and Kubernetes for automated deployments. Solid understanding of networking protocols , security practices , and firewalls , with experience in PCI compliance . Familiarity with caching technologies (Memcache, Active MQ, Redis, APC) and expertise in MySQL (Clusters, Replication, Tuning) and Elasticsearch (Kibana a plus). Ability to architect and automate network infrastructure and software deployment using cloud technologies , including AWS and VMware . Proficiency in object-oriented programming with experience in Python , Ruby , C , C++ , GO , or Java . Strong problem-solving skills with experience troubleshooting complex system issues. What You Need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or Computer Science . A minimum of 7 years of related experience in system architecture and DevOps (excluding educational experience).
