The Associate Director of Managed Solutions Technology is a pivotal role that oversees the strategic financial management and technological integration within the firm. This individual is responsible for directing the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and ensuring the integrity of fiscal data as it aligns with operational benchmarks and long-term strategic goals. Responsible for managing the delivery of a full range of International Tax services and advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy. Planned tax efficient inbound and outbound investments and business structures to account for FDII, PFIC, CFC (subpart F and GILTI), and branch profits tax issues. Restructured foreign ownership of U.S. real property to avoid or mitigate FIRPTA tax exposure. Performed estate, gift, and trust tax planning for multinational families in the U.S., including DNI and UNI calculations and distribution planning. Performed pre-immigration income and estate tax planning for inbound multinational families. Planned tax efficient expatriations for U.S. citizens and long-term residents. Structured cross-border debt instruments to qualify for the portfolio interest exemption.
