How you can make a difference With direct supervision from Support Engineering leadership this position works with Oracle and/or MSSQL packages, procedures and data objects to identify and correct data issues and identify system defects. This position involves writing SQL queries and scripts to support custom reporting requests, data integrity issues and process automation for Enterprise System database applications. Responsible for monitoring core process jobs and responding to issues outside normal scheduled business hours on a scheduled rotation. What you'll be doing Responds to technical issues to provide support for escalated non-repetitive data issues. Analyzes, identifies and resolves data issues by creating complex scripts to resolve data conditions and anomalies in an efficient and effective manner that is in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Essential on call job monitoring to remediate job failures, diagnose problems and provide fixes. This includes monitoring outside of normally scheduled hours on a rotational basis. Maintains and performs operational back office processes that includes but is not limited to executing batch jobs and reports. What you will need to be successful Knowledge of business and technology as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability and skill obtained through 0-3 years experience software support and development, with specific experience Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle relational databases. Basic SQL competency (MS or Oracle) skill set Basic Experience with SQL Server, Oracle Demonstrates a growing understanding of the importance of systemic thinking. (Understanding the system information is flowing in, not just a subsection of it) Growth mindset and willingness to pivot direction and learn new things. Customer service focus. Passion for helping to solve problems, not just answer questions. Understand the importance of a sense of urgency Ability to prioritize/triage effectively and shift gears quickly as business needs require. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams and Outlook) is required. Familiarity with database querying tools (MSSMS, Toad) is required Familiarity with text editing tools (such as Ultra Edit, Notepad, etc) is required. LI-Remote This is a remote position. Salary Range $57500.00 To $75000.00 / year Benefits and Perks The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position.
