Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required depending on the unit BLS - Basic Life Support is required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required depending on the unit NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure may be required depending on the unit TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course may be required depending on the unit Job Details Med Surg RN 13 weeks contract 3x12 hour days, 7A-7P 26-bed Medical unit, non-telemetry, with some medical psych focus as well Additional certifications may be required as per unit-specific information Job Requirements Must have a current registered nurse license A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a Med Surg unit preferred BLS certification required Schedule Information Shifts are 3x12 hour days Exact shift times are 7A-7P All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront at the time of application Unit Specific Information The role is for a non-telemetry 26-bed Medical unit Some focus on medical psych as well Additional Details I9 or attestation required E-verify or attestation required Driver’s License/State ID required within 48 hours of signing Carilion confirms radius to the facility based on the address on the License/ID
