This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Trust services, fiduciary income tax returns, estate tax, estate planning, and proven experience in Trust & Estate. Requirements of the Tax Manager: • More than four years of professional experience, with predominant and most recent experience at regional, national or Big 4 CPA firm • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (Master of Tax preferred) • CPA or Bar License required • Reviewed or performed compliance on numerous fiduciary income and estate tax returns • Interpreted wills and trusts pertaining to estate and fiduciary income tax returns • Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising and training staff • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with software pertaining to estate tax returns, estate planning, trust accounting and income tax returns • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to network and develop client relationships Responsibilities of the Tax Manager: • Advise clients on trust, and estate tax matters • Oversee proprietary tax strategy analysis and calculations for clients • Continue building strong client relationships through networking and business development • Keep team members informed of current tax practices and changes in tax laws • Provide leadership and mentorship to Tax Seniors and Staff, ensuring their growth and development If this sounds like you or someone you know, click Apply or share the job today Disclaimer: By applying to a position at Vale Group, you consent to receive SMS text messages about this or related jobs.
