Expected salary range: Entry Level - $73,000 Mid-level: $ 84,000 - $ 104,00 Senior Level: $109,000- $142,000 Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Responsible for providing technical expertise in support of performing Special Nuclear Material Control and Accountability. Possesses a high degree of knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Uses prescribed guidelines and procedures to analyze and resolve problems. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Specializes in Special Nuclear Material (SNM) accountability and reporting to external agencies and process-driven systems requirements. Responsible for the preparation, review, reconciliation and transmittal of DOE/NRC Form 741, 742, and 742c reports while ensuring that all products are prepared in accordance with applicable procedures, industry codes and regulatory requirement. Works independently ; receives minimal level of guidance and direction. Coordinates, implements and administers technical nuclear plant support activities, primarily Special Nuclear Material reporting and accountability. Responsible for incorporating all Special Nuclear Material (SNM) movement, location, and quantity information into the SNM accounting software database (TracWorks) as well as reconciliation of differences. Perform software owner responsibilities (including DTSQA reviews) in support of SNM Accounting and Reporting Support special projects for fuel inspection and shipping, audits and special requests from other groups within Nuclear Fuels, Reactor Engineering and external organizations (DOE, NRC, NMMSS, contractors) while effectively interfacing with these groups. Influences others within the job area as well as outside the job area and external contacts through explanation of facts, policies and practices Participate in industry conferences related to SNM Accounting and Reporting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Assoc Engineering Analyst/E01 4-year technical degree (non-engineer) OR 2-year technical degree and minimum 1 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years nuclear experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E02 4-year technical degree (non-engineer) and a minimum 2 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR 2-year technical degree and a minimum 3 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years applicable nuclear or related industry experience, working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific function area MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E03 4-year technical degree (non-engineering) and a minimum 5 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR 2-year technical degree and a minimum 7 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR High School Diploma and a minimum 8 years nuclear experience (5 of the 8 years must be at the exempt level) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrates higher accountability and results than E02 Fuels Databank Analyst Seeks out projects and duties beyond their core area of responsibility
