Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Cardiology in Washington

Job Title: Physician - Pediatric Cardiologist Job Specialty: Internal Medicine - Cardiology Job Duration: 13 months Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified, though a fellowship is required. License: Board Certification is required Certifications: BLS is required. PALS is not required. Must-Have: - Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff) - Ventilation Management (Newborn, Pediatric - Acute and Chronic) - Intubation (ETT/NT) for Newborns and Pediatrics - Conscious and Deep Sedation - Central Line and Arterial Lines Placement - X-ray and EKG Interpretation - PA Catheter, UVC, UAC - Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis - Chest Tube Insertion, Needle Pneumothorax Decompression - Suturing Minor Lacerations - Circumcision - Swallow Studies - Echocardiography - TEE (Transesophageal Echo) - Nuclear Cardiology - Invasive cardiology diagnostic (Preferred) Job Description: - Provide coverage for a Pediatric Cardiology Clinic, maintaining previous patient volumes. - Work with a flexible schedule or consider a job share with another provider. - Handle 8-10 patient encounters per shift. - Participate in a 1:4 call schedule with a 25% call-back rate. - Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care on the same days. - Perform comprehensive cardiac care including non-invasive procedures and diagnostic cardiology. - Collaborate with a support team comprising MDs, locums, sonographers, MAs, LPNs, and RNs. - Utilize Epic for EMR and Documentation. - Meet the facility's requirement for board-certified physicians and adhere to an estimated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days for clean history. - Open to two to three providers to fulfill 2.0 FTE for coverage needs. - Engage in ongoing professional growth and development within the Cardiology specialty.
