Description A leading healthcare system recognized globally as the top in its industry is hiring for a qualified Grants (Sponsored Research) Manager. The business office is responsible for the management of grants and contracts (pre- and- post award) administration and oversight of associated financial compliance, as well as management of center operational budgets. The office includes a group of grants and finance administrators (GFAs) assigned to different research centers and multiple faculties. The Grants (Sponsored Research) Manager is reporting directly to the executive Director of Research Business is responsible for the management of the business office. S/he must be expert in grant and contract administration, overall financial compliance as well as skilled at interpersonal communications and personnel management. S/he is responsible for training and development of their assigned grants finance administrators, ensure that faculty and all levels are meeting grant and contract policies and that grant administrative deliverables are accomplished in a timely and accurate way. S/he monitors new federal regulations, advises and recommends department/institutional procedures, and communicates the changes to GFAs and faculty. Serves as principle source of information on complex fiscal policies and procedures including federal regulations, and advises Principal Investigators and project staff on existing options or alternatives, effectively recommending courses of action. S/he participates in strategic planning and policy development. Creates internal guidelines to enhance compliance with National and sponsor regulations. Higher education may be substituted for years of work experience 1 year of supervisory experience preferred Certified Research Administrator Certification preferred
