Summary Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, the Carrier Relations Specialist performs as onsite customer liaison for data management for key Saia Logistics clients. Primary data management is focused around carrier performance including on-time performance, customer experience, claims, EDI compliance and billing accuracy. Responsibilities Performs ad-hoc analyses, monthly and daily reports. Maintains and updates carrier contact information. Provides monthly KPIs to carriers Compiles weekly carrier compliance reports and daily TCC (Traffic Control Center) and EDW (Electronic Data Warehouse) reports. Acts as a liaison between the client and the carrier, addressing EDI issues. Preferred Qualifications Equivalent to Associate’s Degree in Business or Logistics. 3-5 years of transportation experience in logistics environment. 3 years in an analytical/project oriented role. Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, & Word programs. Intermediate skills in OTM, SAP, EDW, or similar software.
