Job Title : Director, Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS Locations: Weirton, WV OR Somerville, MA Work Type : Hybrid Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director of Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS. The head of our People Systems department will offer strategic guidance, leadership, and oversight across all areas of HR operations, including Total Rewards, HR Information Services, Payroll, and Employee Lifecycle. As an integral part of the People Leadership Team, they will help define the strategic direction for the People group, ensuring the team is well-equipped to support a fast-growing organization. Key Responsibilities: Manages the design and administration of the total rewards program, encompassing base pay, incentive/bonus structures, long-term incentive/equity plans, recognition initiatives, and pay policies. Develops and oversees HR processes and workflows, including benefits administration, payroll, onboarding, performance-based pay, and employee data management. Assesses, selects, and oversees HR outsourcing vendors and contracts, including benefits brokers, equity and retirement account managers, and third-party data administrators. Guides, mentors, and develops a team responsible for total rewards, systems, and HR operations, ensuring efficient management of departmental functions such as budgeting, goal setting, performance management, and hiring. Recognizes opportunities to optimize processes, automate tasks, and simplify tools, creating scalable methods to improve HR operations and streamline key workflows. Job Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Management, Finance, or HR required (Masters degree preferred) Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resource areas including: Total Rewards, HR compliance, operations, and technology Must have experience leading the design and implementation of total rewards programs and policies, demonstrating proven success in enhancing attraction, retention, and cost management outcomes Must have experience leading a cross-functional HR team, including defining roles, setting goals and outcomes, establishing metrics, and coaching team members to achieve results. Demonstrated experience in vendor selection and management across total rewards. Experience in HRIS systems required (Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management preferred); Payroll oversight experience preferred Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel
