Certification Details REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS Job Requirements Must have: Med-Surg experience Good teamwork Preferred or nice to have: Oncology/chemotherapy experience Hospice experience Best personality Fit: Positive caring person who likes to work in a family atmosphere Schedule Information 2-3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule Unit Specific Information Unit Information: 2 North Number of Beds – 24 Type of staff: Day Shift – goal is for 1 charge, 4-5 on the floor, 2 techs and 1 secretary Patient Ratios – 5-6:1 EMR – Meditech List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Med surg patients Inpatient oncology and hospice patients Additional Details Floating Area(s): Could be floated to other med surg areas in the hospital if not needed on the unit Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire – navy blue
