Job Description Teledyne Controls is seeking an FP&A Analyst to provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data. The FP&A Analyst prepares and maintains accuracy of accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to procedural standards. Prepares month financial statement forecast and models. Provides administrative support in the collections process. Prepares outstanding accounts reports and gathers credit and/or reference information. Maintains database by entering, updating, and retrieving data, as well as formatting and generating reports. Assists in resolution of outstanding invoice problems from past due accounts. Responds to inquiries from customers or external collection resources. May place calls or send messages to those with unresolved issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. Participate in the month-end closing. Collect data and build financial models. Interpret complex financial information for non-financial staff. Monitor and analyze variances between actuals and the budget/forecast Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules. Provides record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. Contact customers about pending and past due invoices Follow-up routinely to resolution. Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state and local reports and tax returns. Serves as back-up for other accounting duties. Supports the preparation of year-end audit files and analysis. Collaborate with different business units to develop sales forecast Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting or equivalent such as Finance from four-year college or university; at least one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Basic knowledge of MAPICS (ERP), INFOR, and Spreadsheet Server preferred Prior experience with ERP systems strongly preferred Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees). Salary Range: $59,400.00-$79,310.000 Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
