Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Lead and manage the trauma program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of nursing staff. Oversee all trauma patient care activities, ensuring delivery of compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality trauma care. Manage the day-to-day operations of the trauma program, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards related to trauma services. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate trauma care services. Candidate requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in trauma care, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications are required. Certification in Trauma Nursing (TNCC) is preferred. Why work with us?
