Our large manufacturing client in Menomonee Falls is seeking an interim Buyer/Planner for the next 3-4 months . This is a hybrid position (2 days WFH) after training and full-time hours Monday through Friday. This role involves handling the purchase and planning of materials to ensure timely and accurate delivery of essential parts for operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be comfortable working with suppliers, and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Please apply for immediate consideration. RESPONSIBILITIES Purchase Order Management: Create and issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers to maintain an efficient supply of parts and materials. Order Expediting: Expedite purchase orders based on shortage reports or requests to ensure timely delivery. Supplier Follow-Up: Communicate with suppliers to obtain PO acknowledgments and address any past due orders. PO Issue Resolution: Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve PO issues related to pricing, delivery timelines, invoicing, and part quality. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum of 2 years of experience in a buyer/planner role or similar position in manufacturing. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field desired. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing supplier relationships. Ability to work independently and resolve issues proactively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software applications. Oracle experience a plus.
