Job Title : HRIS & People Operations Specialist (Contractor) Location : Cambridge, MA (Hybrid Schedule) Position Overview: We’re seeking a HRIS & People Operations Specialist to support our HR team with data management, process optimization, and employee support. This contract role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in HRIS and HR operations. Key Responsibilities: HRIS Updates : Process employee data changes and resolve system issues, escalating as needed. HR Process Support : Assist with benefits enrollment, compensation cycles, and onboarding/offboarding. Data Audits : Conduct audits for compliance reporting and payroll accuracy. ✅ File Management : Audit and organize personnel files, including I-9s and performance documents. Commuter Benefits : Manage benefits changes, MBTA pass distribution, and payroll reporting for commuter programs. Leave Management : Generate weekly leave status reports and coordinate LTD and ADA processes. Employee Support : Respond to HR inquiries and provide assistance or escalate issues. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 2 years in HR operations or a similar role. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Compensation & Benefits: Pay : $30.00 - $35.00/hour.
