Johnson Law Group, a fast paced, high-volume plaintiffs’ law firm headquartered in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Personal Injury Intake Attorney to join our legal team. We represent injured clients in many states and are growing our personal injury practice both in Texas and beyond. Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be process oriented, and maintain a professional appearance. Candidates must also thrive under pressure, have the ability to multi-task, and be self-motivated. We are not a remote workplace. Responsibilities: Communicate with prospective clients by phone, in person, or electronically. Assess potential new personal injury claims and determine if they should be signed by the firm. Make follow-up contact to potential clients to assist in lead management. Take escalated calls to assist in signing up the potential client and/or handle disgruntled callers/clients. Daily review of newly signed clients to ensure appropriate actions are being taken. Daily review of unsigned personal injury leads to ensure the potential claim was appropriately rejected. Facilitate returning unqualified leads to marketing sources. Ensure data on all newly signed clients is entered into the system correctly. Provide legal support for Intake Specialist. Train and manage an intake team including paralegals and legal assistants. Optimize personal injury intake processes and procedures. Meet Key Performance Indicators established by the firm. Report Key Performance Indicators established by the firm. Assist with weekend and evening personal injury lead management coverage. Assist with personal injury intake activities in other states. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) and Texas state bar membership required Candidate must have at minimum of one (1) year of experience handling potential new client intake on personal injury cases Preference given to bilingual candidates Requirements (Must Have): Strong client-facing experience in any field; ability to communicate clearly with our clients is a must. Strong desire to follow implemented processes. Excellent telephone etiquette. Cultural awareness. Case management skills, including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple clients, projects and deadlines. Superior organization skills with great follow through. Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Deadline and detail-oriented.
