The Talent Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday as the firm's primary Human Resource Information System (HRIS), as well as auxiliary information systems. This role focuses on both day-to-day system support and overall system performance, ensuring that systems are functioning optimally to meet the needs of the department and the firm at large. Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and optimize Workday and other information systems to ensure peak performance and security. Oversee system functionality, data integrity, and process efficiency. Design, test, and implement new modules, features, and integrations. Manage system updates, troubleshoot issues, and support system integrations. Provide user support, training, and best practices on system functionality. Identify and recommend improvements to optimize system performance. Manage system configuration, security, access roles, and data architecture. Build and maintain reports for scheduled and ad hoc analysis. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Attorney Development) Manage vendor relationships. Document system processes and configuration. Support key HR events like performance reviews and open enrollment. Lead system-related projects and process improvements. Troubleshoot, track, and document system issues and user requests, leveraging vendor support when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years minimum experience in a similar role. Advanced Workday configuration and administration experience. Operational support and project management experience in HR systems. Exceptional Service Focus - ability to professionally handle end-user inquiries and meet or exceed customer expectations regarding service. Strong creative problem-solving skills. Must be extremely detail-oriented and reliable. Strong communication skills that allow for analytical findings to be effectively communicated for decision-making purposes. Strong/expert level Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to work in a team environment and have the flexibility to contribute to team efforts when needed. General knowledge of Human Resources functions and laws.
