Residential Drafter

Responsible for the development of residential construction documents and other related Architectural Materials. Mentor less experienced staff through the product development process. • Must have basic skills and knowledge in drafting of: o Architectural Redline Markups. o Architectural Plan Revisions. o Draft working drawings from design development sketches. • Ability to apply all company drafting standards and processes to daily work. • Ensure quality control on all work completed. • Self-monitor quality control on all work produced. • Develop complete construction document sets for city submittal and bidding purposes. • Maintain construction documents as assigned. • Responsible for the more technical aspects of drawings. Requirements: • Related Functional Experience: Minimum 3-5 years AutoCAD operations experience (specific knowledge of current version of AutoCAD Architecture preferred) • Comprehensive knowledge of residential construction techniques, construction documents, building codes, procedural knowledge of activities related to home building construction, including understanding plans and specifications. • Effective communication and organization skills • Software Skills – Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit
