Responsibilities: • Install, alter and repair sheet metal products and equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems • Utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders • Selects appropriate material for each job based on desired or necessary strength. • Coordinates required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation • Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions • Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs Qualifications: • Be able to read blueprints and schematics to understand product specifications • Safely operate machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work • Complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision • Ability to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Must be able to perform manual and repetitive tasks including standing/walking for long periods of time, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, pulling, pushing, lifting, and carrying • Be able to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers • Regular attendance and punctuality Compensation: $18 - $30 DOE • Install, alter and repair sheet metal products and equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems • Utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders • Selects appropriate material for each job based on desired or necessary strength. • Coordinates required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation • Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions • Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs • Inspect products for compliance with specifications and quality standards and requirements
