We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of Siri’s international features. Description Apple Intelligence will have a transformative impact to our customers across the world. It is the responsibility of this team to bring an Apple Intelligence powered Siri to them at the highest quality in a safe and responsible way. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a world-class Siri experience to users around the globe. You’ll work on advanced engineering challenges, including Speech Synthesis/Recognition, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models and, Big Data. Your contributions will drive Siri’s expansion across international markets and ensure that the user experience remains intuitive and culturally relevant. In this role you will be responsible for: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across AIML including Foundation Models, Infra, NLP, Invocation and Speech Recognition to develop innovative solutions that align with business goals. Leading the design and architecture of core Siri systems, engineering tools, and user interactions with an emphasis on scalability and international adaptability. Creating and executing ambitious engineering plans to enhance Siri’s reach and effectiveness in global markets. Minimum Qualifications M.S in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience with 7 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally working on an end-user product. Working capability with programming languages, such as Swift, C++, Objective C, Java, etc. Solid fundamentals in OO design, patterns, data structures, and algorithms Experience with machine learning and data science Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Proven strong product mindset, with focus on building the best experience for the end-user Proven track record of architecting performant scalable software, ideally both on-device and server side Demonstrated ownership of large cross-functional and multi-team projects Proven technical leadership, education, and team mentorship Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
