The Ultrasound Technologist independently performs diagnostic ultrasound exams (including but not limited to: adult and pediatric abdominal, pelvic, small parts, peripheral vascular, endovaginal exams). The Technologist also assists the attending radiologist with interventional procedures such as abdominal biopsies, fluid aspirations and drain placements.
