Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/02/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Rooms/bed - 32 Ratios: 1:2 (day/night/weekend) Float required (travelers are the first to float, typically to NICU or CCU but can float to MS) Weekends: every other Level II trauma exp required Must have experience from a large pediatric hospital. First time travelers are accepted typical medical/surgical ICU patients that are non-cardiac. Respiratory, Trauma, Neuro, and etc. VENT, INTUBATION, SEDATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor s degree from an accredited school of nursing required Minimum 2 year of RN experience required Experience with pediatric patients required. Previous experience with EPIC preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a current valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license required. Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required.
