Senior or Lead IT Auditor

Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior or Lead IT Auditor to join their team.As a Senior or Lead IT Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our IT systems and controls. You will provide independent value-added internal audit services, assessing governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls. Responsibilities: Lead all phases of assigned audit projects, including scoping, risk identification, control assessment, testing, and reporting. Manage audit projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and adherence to department standards. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear explanations and recommendations. Leverage data analysis techniques to identify risks and assess control effectiveness. Demonstrate a deep understanding of IT processes and controls, including application development, change management, security, and business continuity. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business/finance, or equivalent training. 5-7 years of IT audit or information technology experience. Strong knowledge of IT auditing standards and control frameworks (IIA, COBIT, NIST Cyber, CSC, ISO2700x). CISA and/or CISSP certifications required. Insurance industry experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
