Database Administrator

Database Administrator Join our in-house IT team at Uline as a Database Administrator to develop and maintain Database solutions for North America's leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials. This position may be based in Pleasant Prairie, WI or Waukegan, IL based on need. We are looking for individuals who share our passion for custom technology solutions tailored to support a growing company. Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and other database objects. Work closely with application development project teams to ensure optimal application performance. Proactively monitor database performance and optimize through techniques such as indexing and query optimization. Provide day to day support for databases and database applications, ensuring proper backups and documented recovery procedures. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field. 5 years in Database Management or Data Integration. Proficient in a Database Management System such as DataStax, Oracle, or SQL Server. Familiar with replication technologies and ability to read a Logical Data Model.
