What You're Applying For: In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java to develop high-performance, resilient, and scalable microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL endpoints. These services will be used to deliver content to applications and enhance various data curation systems. You will be working in a cloud-native environment, utilizing AWS managed solutions and applying DevOps practices. The solutions you build will contribute to creating exceptional customer experiences for millions of users who rely on our platform for vehicle research and finding the best car deals. What You'll Do: Develop and support Rest APIs, GraphQL with high availability and performance SLAs complying with microservice principles. Develop and maintain internal tools for curation of various business data pipelines. Adopt design patterns and innovate systems with the adoption of modern tools & technologies. Engineer and deploy systems and processes across a spectrum of services following ContinuousDelivery and Cloud-First Strategy. Will be responsible for maintaining data pipelines that ensure data quality, freshness, and consistency. What You Need: Understanding of Object-oriented programming or Functional Programming paradigm. Programming experience in at least one programming language e.g. Java, Python, etc. Understanding of Data Structures and Problem Solving skills. Passion for learning. Basic Experience in working with SQL or NoSQL databases e.g. Postgress, MongoDB, Elasticsearch. The compensation range for this position is $98,200-$122,200 per year. The base pay will take into account internal equity as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
