Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant $90-$115K/year Hybrid – Sandy, Utah A rapidly growing company in Sandy, Utah, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support their accounting and finance team. This position is temp-to-hire, with potential for permanent placement. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end closing, reconciliations, reporting, inventory and fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, and various other accounting functions. Responsibilities: Process transactions within the company's accounting system (SAP) Perform inventory accounting, including tracking material movements and terminal balances Oversee fixed asset accounting, covering asset monitoring, additions, disposals, depreciation, and inventories Prepare and post payroll journal entries, coordinating with ADP for accurate coding adjustments Maintain and update lease schedules and post related journal entries Analyze P&L statements and assist in financial analysis for designated business areas Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and close processes Support internal and external audit activities Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience Familiarity with US GAAP Experience in fixed asset and lease accounting Background in inventory accounting Prior experience in a manufacturing or product-based industry Proficiency with SAP PrincePerelson & Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
