Responsibilities: Hours: 5x8's, Monday-Friday, 40 hours Painting surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers Removing old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting Trouble shoot functional issues with product Safely operate jib and overhead crane equipment Performing preventative maintenance tasks Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty plaster, or other filler Understanding of adhesion testing equipment to prevent paint failure Assist in the paint preparation which could include: sanding, washing, and drying of product Perform related work as assigned Skills relating to Color Management Systems Operates and utilizes lifting aids as necessary to perform work. Qualifications: High standard of integrity and professionalism Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required Mechanical aptitude Ability and desire to work as part of a team The job duties require the employee to bend or stoop Good communication and interaction skills Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts required Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and related equipment Production of quality end products in a timely fashion Regular and on-time attendance; Knowledge of material and equipment prepping.
