Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Apheresis for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Apheresis Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/09/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Hemapheresis RN Shift: will work 4x10s between Monday and Friday. 7a-5:30p, 40 hours/week Weekend and Call REQ: On Call Evenings and weekends (rotation with all RN Staff) Ratios: Mostly 1:1, Occasional 1:2 depending on patient mix. Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? No Years of experience REQ: 1 year Apheresis required (Spectra Optia). Type/Specific experience highly preferred/required: Apheresis, specifically with Optia Spectra- High Priority Skills: Therapeutic Plasma Exchanges, Red Blood Cell Exchanges, White Cell Depletions; Mid Priority Skills: Stem Cell Collections experience; Low Priority Skills: Photopheresis, Lipid Apheresis. First time travelers accepted-yes License REQ: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license Certs REQ: BLS Open to accommodating block schedule? Possible—Biggest needs Monday, Wednesday, Fridays Local radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
