Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pathology in Alabama

A lab is seeking a pathologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Alabama. This pathology role involves handling 20,000 cases annually, with a significant amount of cytology, and 30,000-40,000 surgical cases, including GYN, paps, non-GYN, and frozens. It is a full-service pathology position with rapid reads. Trained histotechnologists perform most of the grossing, while the MD focuses on complex cases.
