Certification Details Idaho or Compact State RN License Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - required for ICU and Operating room roles Pediatric Life Support (PALS) - may be required for some ED roles Job Requirements Requires extensive ortho experience, especially with totals. COVID Exemptions must be requested immediately after offer - on facility forms COVID exemptions allowed - must be approved on facility request form asap. Flu vaccine required - only medical exemptions w/ physician signature and medical reasoning. Client may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week assignment Requires heavy/total ortho experience and C-Section, ENT, or Endo experience (main procedures) Prefers a minimum of two years’ experience working in the OR doing a variety of cases – general, ortho, gastro, OB/GYN, ENT, and Urology are our most common case types. Schedule Information Small hospital in northern ID is looking for an OR Circulator to start ASAP Days, with minimal call required. 10's Monday-Friday 8 hours only CALL: 1 day week/1 weekend per month, but can get more call. Unit Specific Information Unit/Cost Center: Surgery Certifications (RN): Idaho or Compact State RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS) - We do pediatrics with ENT, Dental and C-sections. Certifications (Surgical Tech): Certified Surgical Technician (CST), Basic Life Support (BLS) Ratios: Varies daily. 1800-1900 cases annually; 150-160 cases monthly EMR: Paragon by All Scripts Nurse Aide: No CNAs, we have one surg tech that functions as a nurse aid Weekend Requirement: Call 1 in 4 or 5 Holidays: Travelers let us know about requests Scrub Color: Must wear hospital-provided scrubs Tele: Thru anesthesia Vents: N/a Shifts: M-F: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Call M-F: 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Weekend Call: Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM Floating: SPD Floor Specific Orientation: 2 weeks (before put on call) Additional notes: No new RNs or Surg Techs, travelers must have prior experience.
