Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required for RN’s/RRT’s/CRT’s in critical care) NIH Stroke Certification (Considering ICU and possible Neuro ICU roles) State License 1 Verification Job Details 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: All Protentional MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses. Primary floating required is ICU Float but could float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU units within the hospital Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 ICU; 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract) Floating: Required Call Requirements: None Major Holidays work requirements listed Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
