Contract Manager Job Locations US-TX-Houston Job ID 2024-2548 Category Contracts Management Overview We are looking for an experienced, organized and passionate individual to fill a Contract Manager position in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all contracting and subcontracting activity at Barrios. This position will report directly to the Procurement Director. Responsibilities The Contract Manager will: Negotiate, implement and administer all government and commercial contracts and supplier subcontracts Review, negotiate and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead times, and quality Prepare contract change notices; monitor subcontractor performance Development of new business proposals and contract modifications requirements, managing contract change and resolving contractual conflicts Work closely with government contracts/procurement personnel Develop and maintain relationships of trust and honesty with all internal and external customers Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field 10 years' experience in a contract and subcontract management, or procurement role Experience administrating various contracting types and working knowledge of FAR flow downs Proven ability to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for contracts and subcontracts Accuracy and high attention to detail PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Experience in new business proposal preparation and working through the entire capture team life cycle Essential Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
